Multiple OS in VPS
If you select one of our virtual private server packages, you'll have 3 different Operating Systems to pick from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They are all Linux releases and we offer them rather than offering just a single OS, because the apps that you might want to run on the server may have specific requirements regarding the software environment. Each one of the three has certain pros regarding the available plans that you may later on install, but what's common between them is the fact that they are very stable and reliable and have large communities that support them. The hosting Control Panel alternatives for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, in order to give you more flexibility. In case you order the virtual server with one OS and you need another one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a matter of minutes. We also offer the option to maintain the Operating System on your server up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are completely free and they will not increase the low price of your new hosting server, but also because they are exceptionally stable and secure. Each of them is backed up by a large community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from countless software packages that you may install on your server in case the app that you would like to employ has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and since we would like to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a certain OS, we could change it upon request in case it turns out that you will need alternative one. We can also keep the OS updated weekly as part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
